I am here to support you on your journey towards self-understanding, healing, and inner peace.
I am primarily trained in psychodynamic therapy and integrate other therapeutic modalities when they may be beneficial to your unique needs.
I offer a completely safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings without fear of criticism or shame—a place to make sense of the areas of life you find most challenging. Whether you are feeling lost, grieving, disappointed, depressed, fearful, or weighed down by shame, you don't have to face it alone.
I believe we all hold our own answers and sense of truth. Within the counselling room, I will walk alongside you with complete acceptance as you discover and reconnect with yours.
It seems something of a paradox to be ourselves whilst simultaneously wondering who we really are. There can be a sense that somewhere along our path in life, we either never met or perhaps lost contact with the person we were, or who we feel we were meant to be. The "self" becomes blurred, hidden beneath layers of expectation, responsibility, and habit.
Generally, this is not a question we ask or give any real thought to until a moment of emotional or mental disruption when we are compelled to do so. It might be in times of loss, transition, or deep dissatisfaction, when the roles we have played suddenly feel hollow or inadequate.
Perhaps the question of identity is not a problem to be solved once and for all, but rather a lifelong dialogue with ourselves, a reminder that who we are is not static, but something unfolding, shaped by both what we gain and what we let go of along the way.
There are no right or wrong ways of being you. My role is to provide a completely judgment-free environment where you can explore all aspects of yourself with compassion and understanding. Life becomes much more peaceful when you have an understanding of who you are, and I'm here to support you in that discovery without any criticism or preconceived notions about how you should be.

If you have never had counselling, it can seem a daunting task with questions such as
"What am I meant to say?"
"Will I like the counsellor?"
"Will they like me?"
"Does that even matter?".
For this reason, the initial sessions will be centred around you getting a sense of how I work in a completely non-judgmental way, allowing you to ask any questions about the counselling process and to get an idea of whether you feel I would be the right counsellor to assist you on your journey of self-discovery.
The bond we share with our pet is unique; it is one built on unconditional love, trust, routine, and the quiet comfort of simply being together. When that presence is gone, the loss can feel overwhelming, disorienting, and deeply personal. As a counsellor and pet lover, I honour the significance of that connection and provide a space where your grief is recognised, validated, and held with compassion. Your pet was a member of your family, a companion, a constant in your life, and your emotions deserve gentle, patient support as you navigate this painful transition.
